SeaACT program Term 4

The SeaACT drama program resumed at Hampton Park Uniting Church in Term 4, thanks to the community grants funding from City of Casey. The program ran for 7 weeks, and majority of the students who participated were from Noble Park English Language School Hampton Park Campus. We saw 20 young people register for our program.

Allen from Melbourne Playback ran the workshops and facilitaited drama activities which also built their confidence, team work skills and made new friends from the school next door at Hampton Park Secondary College.

The SeaACT actors performed at two events, including the SEAAC 2014 AGM in Oakleigh and at NPELS Hampton Park Campus. After the performance, the audience asked when the SeaACT program would resume.

With great news, the SeaACT program has been refunded in 2015 in the City of Casey and Greater Dandenong. We thank Arts Victoria for their continued support to foster the Arts in the South Eastern Suburbs and giving our young people the opportunity to express themselves through drama.
