NPELS Leadership Program Term 3 2015

For the first time SEAAC and Hands on Learning Australia (HOL) developed and delivered a tailored leadership program at Noble Park English School (NPELS) engaging a core group of young students across Term 3.

The tailored ‘Hands on Learning’ program uses the power of sport as a tool to retain youth in schooling, build confidence, self esteem and leadership skills.  Participants develop skills and abilities such as collaboration, problem solving, communication, resilience and empathy that assists them in work and life.  Upon program completion, students were empowered to prepare and deliver a soccer training session for 2 Noble Park Primary School classes demonstrating their learnings.  Students were thrilled to be part of this program and experienced a great sense of achievement after mentoring the young students at Noble Park Primary School.
